Groups are a vital part of Netcast Church. Groups are all about connecting with and caring for one another. They exist so that we can know others and be known. They exist so that we can know God and love God more. Since it can be hard to establish meaningful relationships in a church the size of Netcast, we gather throughout the week in groups (usually 10-15 adults) to pray for each other, talk about life and the gospel, and apply God’s Word to every aspects of our lives. Being a healthy part of the Netcast family means being connected to a Group.
Netcast Ministry Teams
Welcome Team has the unique privilege of creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for everyone who arrives at our location on Sunday mornings. As the face of our Connections Ministry, the Welcome Team desires to foster a valuable experience for all; facilitating positive guest experiences, acting as a resource for new attenders, and supporting those who would like to take their next steps in involvement at Netcast. Our volunteers can expect to have fun, share in a dynamic team community, and play a significant role in providing a remarkable guest experience as we intersect with peoples’ stories
Follow Up Team
The Follow Up team is a new team we are currently making plans to build out. This team will become the point people for new families as they take their next steps into our Church. They can interact with our guests outside the Sunday morning experience through text, calls, social media and more!
Data Entry Team
If you enjoy details and prefer to work behind the scenes, this team is for you! This team inputs all our 1st time guests into our internal system, sends handwritten postcards and helps with administrative needs as they come up. These volunteers serve monthly, as well as making themselves available for special initiatives.
Kids Ministry Team
Are you passionate about kids? Then the Netcast Kids is for you! Our kid’s ministry includes babies to 5th graders, so there is a wide range of opportunities available, whether it is rocking a baby in the nursery or teaching a small group in our elementary program. Netcast Kids volunteers serve weekly during one service, so they can still attend one service a week. This creates a consistent relationship environment that is conducive to disciple our kids.
The Venue Team includes set-up and tear-down teams and is crucial to the success of our church. The Setup Team works behind the scenes on Fridays or before the first service to set up equipment on stage, the welcome area, and kids ministry. After the second service, the Tear-down Team packs up each area and puts everything away in the proper storage space. If you love making things happen, then the Venue Team is for you! Our Venue Team volunteers serve every other week.
Do you enjoy using technology? Do you have experience with lighting, audio, or visual equipment? The Production Team is responsible for executing the live production on a Sunday morning and during any Netcast events. This team includes lighting, audio, TV, graphics, and stage crew. Prior experience in these areas is a plus, but we would love to have anyone willing and interested in helping make services function with a high level of excellence. Production team volunteers service every other week.
Do you enjoy graphic design, photography, or videography? Are you a talented writer, editor, or poet? Do you have a knack for social media and advertising? If so, the communications team would love to have you! We aim to further communicate the Gospel through Netcast to our church and our community. Some volunteers will serve every other week and others will serve as needed on special projects.
Do you have a knack for organization and time management? The Netcast Admin. Support position could be for you! This volunteer will help manage someone’s schedule, help with financial support and administratively support Netcast in the church office during the week. The person in this position needs to maintain strict confidentiality. As the roles vary from week to week, this person should also be flexible!
Our Prayer Team is a group of people who desire to listen to God’s heart for His people and to come alongside our church family in prayer. This team meets during the week to pray for our church, the leadership of the church, the greater Northshore community, and beyond. If you have a passion for prayer and heart for this community, the Prayer Team is for you!
Do you enjoy serving and putting a smile on people’s faces? Then the Hospitality Team may be for you. The Hospitality Team members serve about once a month to provide breakfast for all of our volunteers before the first service. This communicates to our volunteers that they are appreciated and valued.
Netcast kids is committed to coming along side parents to help raise lifelong disciples of Jesus. Our children's ministry is built on the foundation the gospel. Our mission is to raise disciples of Jesus and relationships is the main avenue through which we fulfill that mission. We believe that no discipleship can exist outside of meaningful relationship. Our volunteers are the hands and feet of our mission. They're committed, passionate and compassionate. They're committed to providing consistency by serving every week. This enables them to build relationships as it provides a sense of safety and belonging to each child in their care.
Our Early Childhood area for children 3 months to 5 years is a fun, loving, and safe environment where we lay the foundation of scripture using song, movement, and hands on activities. This group is separated into four classrooms for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Teachers facilitate curriculum based lessons geared to teach foundational biblical truths through engaging activities, songs, and stories. A nursing mom's room is also provided
Our Elementary Area (for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade) is a place where we expose children to the gospel and foster a friendly environment where kids aren't afraid to open up to their peers and leaders. At this age level we attempt to create a sense of community not only within their peers but with also the church as a whole. Our hope here is to lay the foundation for the preteen and teen years. This age group meets as a large group for games, worship and a live storytelling. Then, they are broken up into small groups for a Bible lesson based on their grade level.
Netcast Youth is dedicated to creating a fun and welcoming space where students can find Christ-centered community and intentional discipleship. Our Sunday nights begin with a casual hangout and group activity followed by biblical teaching and a small group time where students get to connect with each other and their leaders. In all of this we hope to partner with parents in demonstrating the life-transforming grace of God to the next generation.
